Privacy policy

Here we explain what information we collect when you visit this site, what we use it for, and how you can control it.

Who is responsible for your data

GESSENTIALS LLC, a company formed in the State of New Jersey, United States, that operates under the trade name Aurea Digital, is responsible for processing the personal data collected through this site and for providing its services. For any matter related to this policy you can write to us at direccion@aureadigital.com.mx.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the United States of America and the State of New Jersey, where GESSENTIALS LLC is formed. The United States has no general federal privacy law; we follow the rules that apply to us, such as the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) prohibition on deceptive practices, and the promises we make in this policy.

What data we collect

This site has no user registration and does not store on its server the information you type. The data that may reach us is only the following:

  • What you enter in the contact form. Before messaging us on WhatsApp we ask for your name, what you do, what you need, when you want to start, the investment you have in mind and, if you wish, your website or business. Those answers are not stored on the site: they become a WhatsApp message that you decide whether to send.
  • What you send us on your own. When you message us on WhatsApp or by email we receive your phone number or your email, and any information about your business you choose to share.
  • What you give us when you schedule a call. If you book a call, you do it on a Calendly page, where you enter your name, your email, and any answers you want to give us about your business. With that data the appointment is created and the Zoom video call link is generated.
  • Payment data, if you hire us. Payments are made on the Stripe platform, which captures and protects your card details. We only receive the information needed to identify the payment: your name, your email, the amount, the date, the payment status, and the last four digits of the card. We never see or store the full number.
  • Browsing data. Technical and statistical information about your visit is recorded automatically: the pages you viewed, time on site, device and browser type, approximate city, and the site you came from. This information is statistical and does not identify you personally.

We do not collect sensitive personal data. This site does not receive card data: payments happen on the Stripe platform.

What we use this information for

  • Answering your message and following up on your request.
  • Preparing and sending you a work proposal, if you ask for one.
  • Providing the contracted service and keeping in touch during the project.
  • Processing your payments, issuing receipts, handling refunds, and preventing fraud.
  • Understanding how the site is used so we can improve it, in aggregate and statistical form.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes. We do not send mass advertising emails or sign you up to any list unless you ask us to.

Cookies: what they are and why we use them

Cookies are small files that the site stores in your browser. We use Google Analytics 4 cookies for one reason only: to know which pages are visited, how long they are read, where visits come from, and which buttons lead someone to contact us. With that information we decide what to improve on the site and what content to publish.

  • We do not use them for advertising or to show you ads on other sites.
  • They do not identify you by name: the information is statistical and we look at it in aggregate, not person by person.
  • We do not sell or share that information with third parties for commercial purposes. Google processes it on our behalf and may store it on servers in the United States and other countries.
  • You decide. When you enter the site we ask whether you accept them. Until you accept, Google Analytics works without storing cookies in your browser. You also accept them by checking the privacy policy box in the contact form.

When you pay, you do it on the Stripe page, outside this site. There Stripe uses its own cookies, necessary to process the payment securely and prevent fraud.

We also use Google Fonts to display the site’s typography, which involves a request to Google servers when the page loads.

Analytics cookies are not necessary for the site to work. If you change your mind, you can delete this site’s cookies and data from your browser’s privacy settings (the notice will appear again), or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. If you do, the site will keep working normally.

Who it is shared with

To operate this site and handle your messages we use third-party services that may process data on our behalf: the site’s hosting provider, Google (analytics and typefaces), Stripe (payment processing), WhatsApp, Zoom (video calls), Calendly (call scheduling, when active), and our email provider. Each has its own privacy policies, which we recommend you review.

Where your data is stored. GESSENTIALS LLC and several of these providers, such as Google and Stripe, operate in the United States, so your data is stored and processed there. If you write to us from another country, you agree that your data will be processed in the United States for the purposes described in this policy.

Your rights

No matter where you live, you can ask us to tell you what personal data we have about you and what we use it for, to correct any that is inaccurate, to delete any that is no longer needed, and to stop using it for a specific purpose. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. If you live in a U.S. state with its own privacy law, we also respect the rights that law gives you.

To exercise any of these rights, write to us at direccion@aureadigital.com.mx with your name, a way to contact you, and a clear description of what you are requesting. We will respond within thirty calendar days.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to us and we will delete it.

How long we keep your data

We keep contact data for as long as needed to handle your request and, if a project goes ahead, for the duration of the working relationship and the period required by applicable regulations. Payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting obligations require. After that they are deleted.

Terms of service

The conditions under which we provide our services are described in the terms and conditions.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices or applicable regulations change. Any change will be published on this same page, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
